CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Children's Advent Offering for this year will go to Cesar Moya and Patricia Uruena in Ecuador to help them purchase Christmas gifts for local children that would not normally receive a gift and to purchase school supplies and pay medical costs for local Ecuadorian children. ``Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved'' Psalm 80:3,7,19 is our theme for this Advent season. The art work reflects six passages from Isaiah that show a progression of God's restoration. Each Sunday a verse from Isaiah will accompany the theme verse on the front of the bulletin. Beginning at the south side of the sanctuary and moving north the banners reflect in progression the verse that is written on the cover of the bulletin. Today the banner to the far south reflects Isaiah 64:9, ``Do not be exceedingly angry and do not remember iniquity forever.''
Today Arlin Yoder, Rena Yoder and Luetta Ropp are leading the morning worship service at Pleasantview Home. Our thanks to them as they serve in this outreach ministry. Judy Yoder & Ruth Powell
